Health insurance premiums will keep rising in 2025. According to SRF, the median monthly premium is now CHF 378.70 — that’s CHF 21.60 more than in 2024, an increase of around 6%.

Breakdown by age group:

• Adults: CHF 449.20 per month (+ CHF 25.30 / + 6%)
• Young adults: CHF 314.10 (+ CHF 16.10 / + 5.4%)
• Children: CHF 117.90 (+ CHF 6.50 / + 5.8%)

Regional differences are substantial — Ticino is up by 10.5%, while Basel-Stadt is the lowest at just 1.5%.
